Discover hidden talents, forge new bonds, explore ideas and learn new skills!
Adult Learners Week is celebrated across Australia from 1–8 September 2022.
This year’s theme is ‘Connect With Learning’ – and the focus is on discovery, connection and exploration through learning.
Continuing to learn throughout our lives helps us to change the way we see ourselves and others. Education provides the tools we need to navigate technology and other changes to our society and economy. Adult Learners Week is a reminder to us all that when we are given opportunities to connect, engage or re-engage with learning that we all benefit. It encourages to reflect on your own learning journey and investigate opportunities to “take the next step”.
Adult Learners’ Week celebrates its 27th anniversary this year. Each year, Adult Learners highlights the benefits of learning – in the home, at work and in the community – and showcases the range of adult learning options available for all Australians.
